ANNE OF GREEN GABLES STAINED GLASS
click on image for larger view This beautiful stained glass piece is based on a painting by a Canadian artist and reproduced by Canada Stained Glass Ltd.. Along with making large pieces, such as church windows, Canada Stained Glass makes a number of smaller pieces such as Anne of Green Gables. They use the process of stained glass enameling. To get the shading and depth of color, up to 18 different colors can be layered to get the desired effect and then kiln fired. Even with years of exposure to sunlight, colors will not scratch or fade. The borders are lead free and made of stainless steel. It comes in its own decorative package and would make a beautiful gift for that 'Anne' fan! Definitely one of the best pieces of 'Anne' stained glass we have ever offered. Measures 6 by 6".
